To my surprise her new one did not have games. I picked it because I knew people were upset with 8 and 8.1 games. What really got to me was that I just bought my wife a new laptop with win 7 64 bit. Jader3rd, thanks for a great platform for us to ‘vent’ on. Have we, as experienced and older players of this mind-challenging game, become victims of the internet and therefore must PAY for what was once free entertainment (even though the game/s came at an inclusive price of our PC ?)……and therefore are now delivered (via ‘FREE APPS’) a totally crap experience of what was once a very good sharp and responsive computer based game ? What we see now is circa 1993……AND we as well have the most ANNOYING (bottom-screen add) that CAN NOT be turned off ….Cheers and good luck bloggers
You are correct Karen……Even when playing Free-cell with (GOD forbid) REAL cards….LOL…we can lift and see the Aces hidden behind covering cards (to help guide and make decisions)….Also what has happened to the ‘DOUBLE-CLICK’ movement of transferring cards to the Free Cell/s…………As mentioned above in replies to other players/people of this blog……”I feel that this version, (apparently designed for Windows 8 users), is in fact a major STEP-BACK in time (maybe back to 1995….!!!!!),…… is a bloody insult to the intelligence of older and experienced players of previous versions, AND should be addressed asap”.
